George Horne

George H. "Buck" Horne, 81, of Berlin, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Magnolia Manor.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Tillman officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ricky Sangster, Jackie Stanfill, Ray Nelson, and Mark Hollifield.
Born on July 17, 1937, in Salter, Florida, he was the son of the late Linley Edward & Pauline Cornelia Davis Horne. He worked as an auto parts salesman and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Linley Edward and mothers, Pauline Cornelia Davis Horne and Reba Horne; and one sister, Mary Horne.
He is survived by his wife Martha Ann Giles Horne of Berlin; son, David Horne and wife Terrie of Florida; daughter, Tammy Hollifield and husband Mark of Moultrie; grandchildren, Brandon Horne and wife Allie of Atlanta, Carson Hollifield of Moultrie, Austin Horne of Florida, and Maranda Hollifield Corry and husband Kevin of Atlanta; great grandchildren, Maya Horne and Hazel Horne, both of Atlanta; brother, Eddie Horne; and sisters, Lynne Murray, Paula McGuire, and Sandy  Slaughter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
