Georgianna Ellis

Georgianna Pauline Harris Ellis, 74, of Norman Park, Georgia, died Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in Deep Bottom Cemetery. Alvin Jones, Todd Plymel, David Johnson, Chuck Snyder, Ferron Johnson, and Cole Allen will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on January 27, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Harris and Ida Rosonkowski Harris. She worked for many years for Colquitt Regional Medical Center as an LPN and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Ellis, Sr.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her sons, Arthur D. (Doug) Ellis, James E. Ellis and wife Soraya, George W. (Billy) Ellis, and Arthur H. Ellis, Jr. and wife Molly, all of Norman Park; grandchildren, Arlene Ellis, Gina Ellis Cox, Matthew Ellis, and Samantha Ellis Crawford and husband Michael; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Ida Kalesse of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
