Gladys Castleberry Stanfill, 92, of Moultrie, passed away peacefully on, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Archbold Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home Funeral with Rev. Jackie Cabaniss officiating. Jack Adams, Robbie Clayton, Robby Stanfill, Jr., Ben Gaines, Matt Gaines, Seth Robinson, Blake Smith, and Parker Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at China Grove Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on the day of the service.
Born on March 12, 1931, in Ocala, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Roy Castleberry and Elma Castleberry. Mrs. Stanfill was a bookkeeper at Kelly Reeves for 26 years and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Benjamin Stanfill; brothers, James Castleberry, and Harold Castleberry; sister, Mary Mixon; and great-granddaughter, Gabriella Gaines.
Mrs. Stanfill is survived by her son, Robby Stanfill of Moultrie; daughters, Vicki Stanfill Bennett and husband Donald of Moultrie and Dianne Stanfill Gaines of Moultrie; grandchildren, Leslee Adams and husband Jack, Jaimee Clayton and husband Robbie, Ben Gaines and Mikela, Matt Gaines and Morgan, Robby Stanfill, Jr. and wife April, Shay Robinson and husband Seth, Lexie Stanfill and Blake Smith; great-grandchildren, Madison Adams, Emma Ray Stanfill, Tripp Stanfill, Rhett Gaines, Willow Gaines, Eva Jean Stanfill, Maverick Gaines, Cliff Robinson, Jordan Stanfill and soon to arrive Colt Smith; brothers, Howard Castleberry of Adel and Marvin Castleberry of Jacksonville; and special friend, Mary Sue Tillman.
