Glenn Bruce Snipes, 74, of Moultrie, passed away on, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Per his wishes, Glenn will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
Born on August 8, 1950, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Milton Dewey Snipes and Leda Young Snipes Freeman. Glenn was the proud owner of Southern Mobile Home Products, a business he founded and grew with passion and dedication. His hard work and entrepreneurial spirit earned him the respect and admiration of many in his field. Known for his craftsmanship, Glenn had an extraordinary gift for building things and turning ideas into reality with his hands and expertise. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Glenn served his country honorably as a member of the United States National Guard for six years, reflecting his strong sense of duty and service. Glenn was more than just a successful businessman; he was a kind, generous, and well-rounded individual who made time for his family and friends. His legacy will live on through his many contributions to the industry and the community he served.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marion Shepard Earley Snipes; stepchildren, Heather Parker and husband Ricky, Dianne Dyal and husband Ryan, Carol Roland and husband Jeremy, and Dory Simpson and wife Elizabeth; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Miler, Gary Snipes, and Jennifer Seagle; and beloved dog, Boo.
