Grace Griffin Crosby MOULTRIE Grace Griffin Crosby, 83, of Moultrie, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Unihealth Post Acute Care of Moultrie. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating. Mrs. Crosby was born April 9, 1930, in Pavo, Ga., to the late Stanley Griffin and Stella Mae Dean Griffin. She was a housewife and was of the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Harold Crosby; a son-in-law, Marshall Newsome; three brothers, J. D. Griffin, L.C. Griffin and Gene Griffin; and three sisters, Lillie Mae McAlpine, Viola McAlpine and Ruby Welch. She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Denise Crosby Newsome ; two sisters, Lorine Cowart and Carolyn McAlpine, both of Moultrie; grandchildren, Michael Newsome and wife Rayna and Brandy Natasha Newsome, all of Pavo; great-grandchildren, Arriona Smith and Christian Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
