Grace Saturday Taylor, 97, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Justin Thompson and Clint Murphy will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Robert Blease, Justin Thompson, Clint Murphy, Crystal Plymel, Bruce Blease, Wes Blease, Zack Murphy, and Josh Thompson will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on May 4, 1922, in Colquitt Co., Georgia, she was the daughter of the late V.L. Saturday and Junie Kinard Saturday. She retired from Flowers Baking Company and was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cranford Taylor; daughter, Vickie Lea Taylor; four brothers; four sisters; and two great grandchildren, Mary Linen Blease, and Tate Henry Murphy.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters, Katy Murphy and husband Jimmy, Donna Thompson and husband Marvin, and Dottie White and husband Corry all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Robert Blease and Casey, Justin Thompson and wife Mary Sue, Clint Murphy and wife Sarah, Crystal Plymel, Bruce Blease and wife Brooke, Wes Blease and wife Leslie, Zack Murphy and wife Whitney, and Josh Thompson and wife Lacoln; Great Grandchildren, Bryanna Mclnvale, Wyatt Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Jalin Plymel, Jayvion Plymel,  Semaj Plymel, Jahisah Plymel, Ella Kate Blease, Katie Lynn Murphy, Rivers Caroline Murphy, Hallie Grace Murphy, Brody Thompson, Katherine Collins Blease, Xander Blease, Weston Blease, MaKayla Conger, and Kurstin Jackson;  step-grandchildren, Kristi Rowland, and Kelli Kennedy and husband Chris; special nieces, Dorothy Brazeau and husband Wayne, and Cheryl Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
The family of Mrs. Taylor would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and Heather Tillman.
