Harry Lee Swords DOERUN Harry Lee Swords, 69, of Doerun, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Macclenny Nursing & Rehab in Florida. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Swords officiating. Burial will follow in Leila Cemetery with Joshua Swords, Trey Swords, Wesley Peace, Raymond Lowe, William Cooper,Buck Cooper, Ameila Swords and Robert Connell serving as pallbearers. Born July 5, 1943, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late George Author Swords and Delma Martin Swords. He was retired from Stewart Sandwick Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son Norman Swords; and a sister, Marie Swords. Survivors include sons, Harry Lee Swords Jr. and wife Wendy of Macclenny, Fla., Duncan Swords of Doerun, Timmy Swords and wife Candy of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles Swords of Callahan, Fla.; daughter, Dorothy Lowe and husband Raymond of Briceville, Fla.; stepdaughters, Ruth Cochran and husband Keith of Ashburn, Ga., and Lori Webb and husband Charles of Albany, Ga.; brothers, Lewis Swords and wife Shirley of Norman Park, George Swords and wife Shirley of Waycross, Ga., and Bo Swords and wife Lynn of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Margaret Bynam and husband Joe of Moultrie; and 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The family maybe contacted at 5108 Ga. Hwy. 33 North in Moultrie, home of Margaret and Joe Bynum.
