Helen Louise Roberson Phillips MOULTRIE Helen Louise Roberson Phillips, 86, of Moultrie died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Valdosta, Ga. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Mormon Church with Bishop Troy Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Church Cemetery. Born Sept. 13, 1928, in Robersonville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Willie Hayward Roberson and Fannie Bland Roberson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Thomas Phillips; and a sister, Barbara Brooks. Survivors include sons, Tommy Thomas Phillips and wife Cathy of Weimar, Texas, Larry L. Phillips of Moultrie and Harry Eugene Phillips of Moultrie; daughters, JoAnne Vaccaro of Moultrie, Cindy Odom of Maryville, Tenn., and Wanda Stewart of Longmont, Colo.; sisters, Francis Farmer of Robersonville, N.C., Betty Taylor of Greenville, N.C., Katie Clark and husband Frank of Bethel, N.C., and Mary Staton and husband Randy of Scottland, N.C.; grandchildren, Jason Phillips of Moultrie, David Steward of Colorado, Daniel Steward of Colorado, R.J. Steward of Colorado, Jon Odom of Tennessee and Jarren Odom of Tennessee; and great-grandchildren, Justin Blane and Noah Stewart.
