Herbert Timothy Turner, 74, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 3pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dudley Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Rose of Sharon Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Justin Turner, Mark Turner, Timothy Hardin, Matthew Turner, Jonathan Turner, and Tyler Hancock.
Born on December 30, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Timothy Herbert Turner and Bessie Mae Moore Turner. He was a self-employed Truck Driver and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, and sister, Ida Mae Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Gwen Tucker Turner of Moultrie; sons, Anthony Kim Turner and wife Debbie of Omega, and Herbert Timothy "Tim" Turner, II and wife Teresa of Doerun; stepson, Rev. Gerry Moore of Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sister Donna Lee Kilgore of Autreyville.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm - 3:00pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home just prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
