Herman Binion, Jr.

Herman Binion, Jr., 63, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11am at The Strickland Family Cemetery, 2021 Lower Meigs Road Moultrie, Georgia, with Rev. Hugh Ward officiating. Born on September 24, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Herman Carroll, Sr. and Ethel Dent Binion. He was a master carpenter, a United States Navy Veteran, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several sisters and one brother. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Glenda Suzanne Strickland Binion of Moultrie; son, Michael Jonathan Gay (Stephanie) of Moultrie; beloved grandchildren, John Thomas Gay, and Zacary Sean Gay, both of Moultrie.
