Hettie Belle Smith Sjogren MOULTRIE Hettie Belle Smith Sjogren, 95, of Moultrie, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at her residence. A private family graveside service will be held with the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating and she will be interred at Rose of Sharon Church Cemetery. Born June 8, 1918, in Rocky Mountain, N.C., she was the daughter of the late George "Bud" Smith and Emma Langley Smith. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers, George Edward Smith, Johnnie Herbert Smith, Roy Lee Smith, William Anderson Smith, Willard Horace Smith, Lotus Smith and Franklin D. Smith; and sisters, Madell Cone and Marie Joyner. Survivors include her son, Bruce Sjogren and wife Wilma of Moultrie; daughter, Shari Dorminey and husband Ralph of Moultrie; sisters, Rochelle Williams of Wilson, N.C., and Elsie Mae Smith of Rocky Mountain, N.C.; grandchildren, DeAnn Blair and husband Brian of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie "Mac" Blair and Jessie Ann Blair; and special pets, Lost and Snow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
