Ilene Lovett Boyd, 99, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Pruitt Health.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Mr. Tommy Lovett and Rev. James Pendell officiating.
Born on May 21, 1921 in Norman Park, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlton A. Lovett and Lillie Nobles Lovett Miller. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many, many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Corbett Boyd; son, James Kenneth Boyd and wife Bea; and brothers, Ray Lovett, Massey Lovett, Charlie Lovett, and Julian Miller.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter, Venice B. Sloan and husband Wilburn of Norman Park; grandchildren, Lisa Wimberly Croom and husband Barry, Kevin L. Wimberly, Sabrina Comeau and husband Mike and Rhonda Dew and husband Joe; great grandchildren, Kathryn Wimberly, Carrie Grace Wimberly, Madison Comeau, Makenzie Comeau, Hannah Dew, and Laney Dew.Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
