Ilona Parsons

Ilona Doreen Howell Parsons, 79, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 13, 2020 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Grove Cemetery. Robert Cone, Jay Brown, Devin Adderton, Shannon Bryant, Daniel Bryant, and Corey Bryant will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on April 15, 1940, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Clifton O'Deal Howell and LaVesta Barron Howell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lakeside Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Nathan Parsons; sons, Roger D. Parsons and Tony G. Parsons; sister, Kathleen Brown; and brother, Eric Howell; sister in law, LaNelle Howell; and brothers in law, Earl Bryant and Lavon Brown.
Mrs. Parsons is survived by her daughter, LaWanda Diane Humbers and husband Mike of Moultrie; grandchildren, Aisha Parsons, Amber Adderton (Devin), Samantha Harcus and fiancée Katie Mays, Jeremy Sumner and fiancée Nicole Beck, Victoria Parsons, Jessica Parsons, Kenneth Humbers, and Gage Humbers; brothers, Royal Howell and wife Martha of Douglas and Norman Howell of Norman Park; sister, Virginia Bryant of Rose Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home.
