Ira Franklin "Dutch" Hall Sr., 81, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at Leila United Methodist Church with the Revs. Roger Mays, Jimmy Voyles and Frank Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Leila Cemetery with Ricky Weeks, Tony Garrick, Robert Padgett, Jerry Pope, Thomas Rentz and John David Lippincott serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Holton, Bobby Jones, Roy Flowers, Randall Tillery, Jerry Bennett, Tony Bennett, Julian Bennett, Mike Bennett, John Bennett, Joey Roberts, Mark Roberts and Terry Roberts. Born Nov. 1, 1930, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late John Franklin Hall and Della Crosby Hall. He retired from J. P. Steven-Forstman Corp. and was a member of Leila United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, John Everette "Son" Hall Sr., L. F. Hall, Ace Hall, Mervin Hall and George Hall; and sisters, Elise Jones, Maggie Conger, Thelma Hall and Ruby West. Survivors include sons, Frankie Hall of Norman Park, Rodger Hall and fiancée Jenny Edwards of Moultrie and John Pate and wife Marsha of Statesboro, Ga.; a sister, Maudie Hall of Moultrie; and a grandchild, Braylan Pate.
