Ivan Connor Alarcon

Ivan Connor Alarcon, 20, of Norman Park, GA passed away on November 12, 2016. Ivan blessed his entire family when he was born on September, 7 1996 in Thomasville, GA to his beloved parents Gilberto Alarcon and Brenda Palomares. Ivan was a 2016 graduate of Colquitt County High School and was enrolled at Southern Regional Technical College. Ivan always lived his life with love and optimism. He loved and protected his baby sister Sahara, like his life depended on it. He adored and cherished is mother Brenda. Ivan loved, respected, and looked up to his father Gilberto. His grandparents meant the world to him. He loved his aunts like he loved his own mother. His uncles were his friends. His cousins were like his siblings. His best friend was like his brother. His beloved dog, Chunks, was as he said "my ride or die." Ivan never met a stranger. His beautiful smile lit up the sky. His firm handshake took men by surprise. He always greeted with a bear hug and a gentle kiss on the cheek. He never said goodbye. He always said "I love you." Ivan is survived by his parents Brenda Palomares and Gilberto Alarcon of Norman Park, GA. His sister Sahara Alarcon of Norman Park, GA. His maternal great-grandmother Petra Soto of Norman Park, GA. His maternal grandparents Fermin Palomares Soto and Gloria Sandoval of Norman Park, GA. His paternal grandparents Alicia and Gilberto Alarcon of Nueva Rosita, Mexico. His maternal aunts and uncles Nancy and Joseph Fernandez, Gloria Astrid Palomares, Rocio Palomares-Childers and David Childers, Karla Palomares and Refugio Lara, and Kimberly Palomares and Johnathan Ramos all of Norman Park, GA. His paternal uncles and aunts Rosana Alarcon and Marco Garza, Purificacion Alarcon, and Julio Cesar Alarcon of Nueva Rosita, Mexico. His cousins Alessandro Lara and Nalani Ramos of Norman Park. He is survived by many other uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ivan's family will have a private memorial celebration of his beautiful life with immediate family and friends.
