Jackie Wayne “Jack” Roush

Jackie Wayne Roush, 78, of Moultrie, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Oakdale Cemetery with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Pallbearers will be Burk Parrott, Trey Parrott, Eric Keen, Lee Stewart, Scott Freeman, and Glenn Tourout.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Baker Funeral Home.

Born on January 30, 1947, in Conway, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Clyde Roush and Alice Florence Welty Roush. Jack was the proud owner of Comfort Plus in Moultrie, Georgia, where he shared his knowledge and love for the furniture industry with his community. Jack spent over 17 years working with the Parrott Group, a company connected with Ashley Furniture, where his commitment and strong work ethic made him a valued and respected member of the team. His 50-plus-year expertise and passion for his work extended beyond his career at Ashley Furniture. Jack was also known for his artistic talent and love of drawing, a hobby that brought him joy and allowed him to express himself in a way that was uniquely his own. He was a man of integrity, always working diligently and taking pride in everything he did. Jack was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and loyal furbabies, Puppy and Bailey.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Joyce Marie Norman Roush of Moultrie; son, Eric Keen (Valerie) of Charleston, South Carolina; daughter, Karen Marie Roush of Moultrie; grandchildren, Asia Nicole Roush, Haley Keen, and Kelly Keen all of Charleston, South Carolina; brother, Thomas Roush of Savannah, Georgia; sister, Mary Cooler and husband Billy of Swainsboro, Georgia; niece and nephew, Kacie Stewart and Lee Stewart; sister in law, Vickie Norman of Moultrie; special friends, Burk and wife Dawn Parrott of Isle of Palms, South Carolina; and all the Ashley Furniture Family Employees.
