James Randall Baker MOULTRIE James Randall Baker, 73, of Albertville, Ala., and formerly of Moultrie, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Marshall Medical Center in Albertville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Walter Powell and Charles Walker officiating. Interment will be in Leila Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Ken Jernigan, Joe Ken Jernigan, Jeremy Dickens, Casey Walker, Stevie Walker, David Walker, Steve Meders and Doug Meders. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Thompson, Charles Robinson, James Ragan, Billy Fender, William Dillard, Lloyd Clark, Benny Robinson, Tommy Lackey, Kenneth McFarland, Tony Bennett, Milton Mercer, Joey Roberts, Johnny Fletcher, Randall Norman and Julian Grantham. Born June 8, 1940, in Omega, he was the son of the late Rufus Baker and Katie Sumner Baker. He was retired from Heritage Propane and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Albertville. He was also an ordained deacon. Survivors include his wife, Amanda Jane Walker Baker of Albertville; a son, Kevin Randall Baker and wife Barbara of Buena Vista, Ga.; a daughter, Sonya Lynn Baker Roebuck and husband Shane of Albertville; a sister, Ray Jean Jernigan and husband Henry of Lenox, Ga.; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
