James Franklin Blair, 82, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at Agape Health and Rehab. in Moultrie. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Murray Barfield officiating, assisted by the Rev. Isaac Gonzales. Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Cemetery with Roy Holton, Adie Holton, Roger Holton, Shane Brumley, James Golden and Mark McClure serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers are John Nesbit, David Nesbit and Stephen Blair. Born June 13, 1929, in Sylvester, Ga., he was the son of the late Irene Calhoun Blair and Appleton Blair. He was a retired farmer and a member of New Life Tabernacle. He was preceded in death by a brother, N.B. Blair; and sisters, Mandy B. Whaley and Tilly Hutto. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Anne Croker Blair of Moultrie; sons, Jim Franklin Blair of Moultrie and Marvin Clifton Blair and fiancée Jennifer Bullard of Moultrie; daughters, Seretha Belle Blair May and husband Craig of Moultrie, Loretta Darlene Blair Flores and fiancé Antonio Ortiz of Moultrie and Barbara Elaine Blair and fiancé Kelley Sercer of Moultrie; a sister, Myrtle B. Snow of Moultrie; grandchildren, Mark McClure, Stephen Blair, Stephanie Blair, Lloyd Nesbit, John Nesbit, Jennifer Flores and Enrique Ortiz; and great-grandsons, Timmy, Noey, Markie and Nickie.
