HULL - James Donald Cox Jr., 55, of Hull, Ga., and formerly of Norman Park, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Garden. Bro. Bobby Wiard will officiate, and pallbearers will be Jody Smith, Jody Cox, Gary Johnston, Mathieu Smith, Johnny Cox Jr. and Steve Stanfill. Mr. Cox was born April 9, 1960, in Moultrie, son of the late James Donald Cox Sr. and Charlie Irene Stapleton Cox. He was a Baptist and worked at Universal Forest Products. Survivors include a brother, Matthew Cox Sr. of Norman Park; a sister, Milbra Colleen Keigans of Pavo;brother-in-law, DavidWilliams of Hull; aunts, Linda Wiard and husband Bobby, Judy Smith, Maggie Jean Cox and Hattie Lou Cox; an uncle, Larry Cox; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cynthia Irene CoxWilliams and Judy Jorene Cox. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral, 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
