James Marion "Jimmy" Hatchett NORMAN PARK James Marion "Jimmy" Hatchett, 56, of Norman Park, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Kent, Donald Bivins, Bruce Vines, James Folsom, Clint Carter and Andrew Crook serving as pallbearers. Born Oct. 5, 1956, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Lattie Marion Hatchett and Eddith Latrelle Baker Hatchett. He was a welder at KMC and he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a sister, Joyce Hatchett Carter and husband Lyonel of Moultrie; a special niece, Laura Carter Crook and husband Andrew of Valdosta; and a special nephew, Clinton Carter of Statesboro, Ga. Visitation will be today, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Moultrie or a charity of choice.
