James "Bubber" A. Morgan

James “Bubber” A. Morgan, 88, of Norman Park, passed away, Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Steve Pearce, Sonny Baker, Lewis Hurst, Joey Roberts, Stacey Rutledge, and Kenny Swain will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on January 9, 1934, in Cusseta, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Alfred Morgan and Pearlie Sizemore Blythe. He retired after 27 years from GTE Telephone Company as a supervisor and was a member of Crosland Baptist Church. He was a horse trainer for over 65 years. He broke and trained his last horse, Loot at the age of 81.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ellene Moysey.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his loving wife, Pasty Norman Morgan of Norman Park; sons, James Ellis Morgan, Flynn Allen Morgan, and Timothy Brett Morgan all of Norman Park; daughter, Lynn Morgan Deloache of Moultrie; brother, Robert Blythe and wife Barbara of Texas; grandchildren, Seth Morgan and wife Catherine, Parker Morgan, Magan Phillips and husband Russell,Renee Powell, Wes Smith, Brettney Elise Placik and husband John Edward, and Courtney Shae Sapp and husband Forrest; and great-grandchildren, Noah Morgan, Chase Morgan, Piper Morgan, Kelsey Maxwell, Garrett Maxwell, Nathan Phillips, Asher Powell, Gabriella Morgan Sapp, Gianna Marina Sapp, Makayla Powell, Denver Powell; and born in October, Shiloh Grace Sapp.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
