James Ferrell Smith

James Farrell Smith, 96, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Cobblestone. A graveside service was held at Pinecrest Memory Gardens on Monday, October 2, 2017. Rev. Carl Felts officiated the service. Born on March 1, 1921 in Doerun, Georgia, he was the son of the late Arthur Smith and Isa Bennett Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired route salesman for Dimond Battery Co and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kathleen Woods Smith, and his nine siblings. He is survived by his son, William F. Smith and wife Faye of Moultrie, Grandson, Jamie Smith of Moultrie, and his granddaughter, Arlin Kathleen Smith of Moultrie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
