Jameson Duane Wetherington

Jameson Duane Wetherington, 62, of Lenox, died Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.


A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the family farm with Rev. Kit Johnson and Rev. Jody Jordan officiating.


Born on August 24, 1957 in Tifton, Ga, he was the son of Emerson and Barbara Rose Wetherington.  He was a farmer and was a member of First Baptist Church Norman Park.


He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sha Wetherington.


In addition to his parents, Emerson and Barbara Rose Wetherington, of Lenox, he is survived by his loving wife, Jeanine Davis Wetherington of Lenox;  son, Heath Wetherington and wife Jennifer of Lenox; daughter, Britney Wetherington Mobley and husband Jake of Moultrie; brother Zack Wetherington and wife Jackie of Lenox; sister, Jan Searle of Lawerenceville, Ga; grandchildren, Jacey Wetherington, Libby Wetherington, Sadie Wetherington, Aubrey Wetherington, Katie Jean Wetherington, all of Lenox,  Allie Mobley, Davis Mobley, Jud Mobley all of Moultrie; aunt, Katherine Goode of Adel, Ga; nieces and nephews; Craig Lindsey and wife Kristy of  Cartersville, Ga, Levi Wetherington of Athens, Ga, Mark Johnson of Alapaha, Ga, Mickie Johnson and wife Kristie of Nashville, Ga, Marty Johnson and wife Lena of Tifton, Ga, Shana Murphy and husband Lance of Moultrie, Ga, Javan Morgan and husband Parker of Moultrie, Ga, and Leah Braswell and husband Sonny of Moultrie, Ga; numerous cousins.


In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make donations to Sha Missions, P. O. Box 107, Norman Park, GA 31771.
