Jane Miller Phelps Cobb, 93 passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at Agape Health & Rehab. Funeral services will be held Monday Sept. 5, 2016 at 11a.m. at Lakeside Assembly of God with the Rev. Donnie Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Funston City Cemetery. Born January 30, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Columbus Miller and Mickey Allegood Miller. She was formerly employed with Riverside Manufacturing and was of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by husbands, Claude Byron Phelps and Wilson Cobb; daughter, Carol P. Keen; brothers, David Miller and Alvin Miller, Jr.; sister, Nell Bonnell; and her parents, Alvin Columbus Miller and Mickey Allegood Miller. Survivors include her son, Gregg "Stretch" Phelps and wife Sonya of Moultrie; daughter, Betty Lawrence and husband Wayne of Moultrie; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild; and a special friend, John "Oscar" West of Jacksonville, Fla. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 from 4pm-6pm at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. The family may be contacted at the house of Brooke and Clay Smith.
