Jarrell L. Burgess

Jarrell L. Burgess, 73 of Moultrie, died Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Tuesday March 19, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Dee officiating. Interment will be at Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerome Burgess, Kaleb Moore, Fernando Hernandez, Rickey Dean, Austin Watson and Andrew Brown.
Mr. Burgess was born July 27, 1945 in Moultrie to the late Harvey Eugene Burgess and Gladys Allman Burgess. He was a retired Truck Driver with Modern Welding of Orlando, FL and of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Steve Collins and Donnie Collins; brothers, Kenny Burgess and Darrell Burgess; sisters, Janice Goolsby and Barbara Jean Burgess.
Survivors are his wife Edna Dora Lamb Burgess of Moultrie; sons, Jerome Eugene Burgess and Sallie of Pavo, Kim Collins and wife Mary of Orlando; daughter, Kathy Faircloth and husband Lester of Quitman; grandchildren, Jessie Moore and husband Kaleb of Moultrie, Hunter Burgess of Pavo, Walker Burgess of Pavo, Shelby Montgomery and husband Daniel of Quitman; great grandchild, Dallas Moore.
Visitation will be from 6-8 Monday March 18, 2019 at Baker Funeral Home.
