Jeanie Lorine Folsom Lowery, 72, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at South Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 16, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Burial will follow in Buck Creek Cemetery, in Norman Park, with Ken Folsom, Paul Folsom, Billy Coffee, Doug Weeks, Michael Wilson and James Evarts serving as pallbearers. Born Oct. 23, 1939, in Hartsfield, Rose Hill Community, she was the daughter of the late Felton Folsom and Maudie Lee Edinfield Folsom. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Folsom, Francis Folsom, Montine Fletcher, Gussie Allen and Elsie Coffee; and brothers, James Preston Folsom and Guy "Bud" Folsom. Survivors include her husband, Jack Lowery of Norman Park; daughters, Jackie Lowery of Moultrie and Lynn Lowery Najar and husband Hector of Norman Park; sisters, Mildred Tripp and husband Jim of Pensacola, Fla., and Shelby Jean Adams of South Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Ring and husband Chris of Tifton, Ga., Tabitha Najar and Isabella Najar of Norman Park and Adrianna Najar of Albany, Ga.; and great-grandchild, Zachary Christopher Ring of Tifton, Ga. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., today, June 15, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
