Jeffery Dwayne Wood, 56, of the Crosland Community in Omega, died Friday June 30, 2017 at his residence. Memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday July 8, 2017 at Crosland Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating.  He was born July 10, 1960 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl to Carl Julian Wood, Jr. of Omega and Christine Proctor Wood of Sealy, TX. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his parents; son, Jason Wood of Ohio; brothers, David Wood of Sylvester, Allen Wood and Tyler Wood of Omega; sisters, Phyllis Robinson of Sealy, TX, Cynthia Harper of Omega, Angela Underwood of Fayetteville, NC, Shirley Wood, St Augustine, FL, Deliah Wood, West Point and Dianna Zapolte of Moultrie and 3 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crosland Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 321 Crosland Scooterville Rd, Omega, GA 31775. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
