Jeffie Lenward Davis NORMAN PARK Jeffie Lenward Davis, 75, of Norman Park, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday Jan. 30, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating, assisted by Pastor Charlotte Lawrence. Burial will follow in Wright's Chapel Cemetery with Tanner McGahee, Matt Tillery, Shaun Shiver John Baker, Sam Key and Javen Partain serving as pallbearers. Born Sept. 24, 1938, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Jeffie Lee Davis and Myrtis Mauldin Davis. He was a retired truck driver for RRR Truck Lines and he was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gene Davis, Jerry Davis, Terry Davis, Jimmie Lee Davis and Bobby Davis; and sisters, Thelma Brack and Jane Davis. Survivors include his wife, Winnie Whittington Davis of Norman Park; son, David Davis and wife Stephenie of Norman Park; daughters, Tammy Davis Winborne and husband Chris of Winnsboro, La., and Chrissi Davis Hall and husband Scott of Berlin; a sister, Anne DeMott and husband Jimmy of Moultrie; grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis Croft and husband Tyler, Emily Davis, Hanna Davis, Katelyn Davis, David Davis Jr., Christopher Merritt, Kacey Merritt, Liles Hall, Kevin Hall, Chris Winborne II and wife Candace of Winnsboro, La., and Brandy Winborne Crochet of Bogalusa, La.; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Dalton Croft, Tristan Crochet, Xander, Dakota and Xoie Winborne. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
