Jerry Clifton Hargraves MOULTRIE Jerry Clifton Hargraves, 58, of Moultrie died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Andy Cashwell and Ronald Barrett officiating. Interment will be in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Bubba Newton, Randy Dotson, Jimmy Vanzant, Tom Ray, Preston Hart and Larry Baker. Born March 29, 1956, in Adel, Mr. Hargraves was the son of Grace Hart Hargraves and the late O.C. Hargraves. He was the owner of Jerry's Appliance Parts & Service and was a member of Ellenton Baptist Church. "Jerry loved his family and friends," his family said. "His interests included camping, bluegrass music, flying remote control planes and his story telling to make folks laugh." He was married to Penny Newton Hargraves of Moultrie. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Brion Hargraves and wife Andrea of Norman Park and Justin Hargraves of Moultrie; a brother; Lynn Hargraves of Ellenton; and grandchildren Tanner and Caleb Hargraves of Norman Park, Lori Jackson of Valdosta and Katlyn Jackson of Moultrie; many nieces and nephews, and his dog H.L. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the funeral home. The family can be contacted at the family home at 1932 Fourth St. S.E.
