Jerry George Hancock, 86, of Albany, passed away, on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Wilson Hospice House.
Born on January 2, 1936, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Sidney Hancock and Stella Horne Hancock. He served in the United States Airforce. He retired from the US Post Office and Dougherty County after 21 years and was of the Methodist Faith.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his loving wife Janice Wimberly Hancock of Albany; and sister, Sue Hall of Norman Park.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stuart Hancock; brothers, Gene Hancock, Hoyt Hancock, and Omar Hancock; and sister, Solita Stewart.
Due to the rising of covid-19 there will be no formal services.
