Jerry Perry (photo) MOULTRIE - Jerry Perry, 64, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, August 1, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Kennedy officiating. Born on December 2, 1950, in Louisville, Ky., he was the son of the late Almond Mason Perry and Florence Osborne Perry. He retired from maintenance with Colquitt Regional Medical Center, was a volunteer with Fire Fighters Ellenton VFD, and a volunteer of Friends of Reed Bignham State Park, and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceeded in death by three brothers, Marvin Perry, Roy Perry, and Ernest Perry; and two sisters, Joyce Walters and Barbara Smith. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Lynn Kennedy Perry, of Moultire, Ga.; son, Dwayne Perry Villanova and wife, Denise, of Louisville, Ky.; brothers, Billy Perry and wife, Minnie, of Owenton, Ky., Terry Perry, of Owenton, Ky., and Mason Perry & wife, Diane, of Louisville, Ky.; sisters, Evelyn Brown, Pam Pollard and husband, Charlie, of Louisville, Ky., and Thelma Higdon, of Salem, Ill.; father-in-law, Ernest Kennedy & wife, Danice, of Moultrie, Ga.; mother-in-law, Joan Goodman, of Barwick, Ga.; sister-in-law, Barbara Perry, of Louisville, Ky.; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service. The family requests that donations be made to Ellenton VFD or Friends of Reed Bingham State Park.
