Jerry Wandell Wisham, 81, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Joey Herndon officiating. Colby Payne, Austin Wisham, Mitchell Williams, Mike Arnold, Jim Harp, and Blaine Raley will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
Born January 29, 1941, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Horace James Wisham and Jewel Estelle Strange Wisham. He retired from Riverside Manufacturing and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James M. Wisham, Elton Wisham, and Bobby Wisham; sisters, Lois Fuches, Juanita Fletcher, and Jeanette Herndon; and stepson, Kenneth Williamson.
Mr. Wisham is survived by his wife, Diane Durden Wisham of Moultrie; son, Kevin Wisham and wife Ginger of Greenwood, South Carolina; daughter, Suzanne Wisham Payne and husband Stephan of Moultrie; grandchildren, Hannah Saunders Williams and husband Mitchell, Colby James Payne, Austin Wisham, and Alex Hendrick and husband Clarke; great-grandchildren, Trace and Ava Charles Hendrick; stepdaughter, April Harp and husband Jim of McRae; step-grandchildren, Paige Phillips and Blaine Raley of McRae, Tayler Raley of Brunswick, Clint Harp, Cailee Harp and Calen Harp of Cochran; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and sister in law, Cecile Barber Wisham of Conyers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Monday, December 5, 2022.
