Jessie Eugene Wise

Jessie Eugene Wise, 68, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Roberts, Junior Morgan and Billy Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Jason Poole, Tim Walker, Jason Boykin, Tony Harris, Rocky Wise and Shannon Hancock serving as pallbearers. Born July 13, 1943, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Jessie Wise and Fosteen McAlpin Wise. He was self-employed as a produce Distributor and was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. D. Robinson; and a sister, Marilyn Durden. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Taylor Wise of Moultrie; sons, Randy Wise, Joey Wise, Keith Wise and wife Leah, all of Moultrie and Chris Griffin and wife Kristi of Funston; daughters, Nelda Nunez and husband Alex of Chatsworth, Ga., and Sandy Connell of Moultrie; brothers, James Robinson of Pavo, Ronnie Ansley of Moultrie and Bobby Ansley and wife Wanda of Moultrie; sisters, Margaret Moore, Joyce Tucker and husband George, Linda Brumlow, Christine Amador and husband Nick and Charlene Hampton and husband Mike, all of Moultrie; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
