Jimmie Lee Davis (veteran) MOULTRIE Jimmie Lee Davis, 82, of Ashburn died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Heritage Health Care of Asuburn. A graveside memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating and music by Kim Harrell Roundtree. Born Sept. 18, 1930, in Sylvester, Davis was the son of the late Jeffie Lee Davis and the late Myrtis Lee Mauldin Davis. He was a security guard for Destiny and National Beef and a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was preceded in death by a son, James Patrick Davis (Tiger); four brothers, Terry Davis, Jerry Davis, Carol Gene Davis and Bobby Leon Davis; two sisters , Jane Elizabeth Davis and Thelma Virginia Davis Brack. Survivors include a brother, Lenward Davis and wife Wendy; a sister, Ann Davis DeMott and husband Jimmie of Moultrie; an uncle, Bill Mauldin, an aunt, Eloise Mauldin;a sister-in-law Sharon Davis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
