Joan Bryant Edwards

Joan Bryant Edwards, 85, of Jonesboro Georgia, formerly of Pavo, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Piedmont Henry General Hospital.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Edward's grandkids, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on April 8, 1933, in Pavo, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Carl Bryant and Addie Bell Durham Bryant. She was the owner/operator of Tara Playschool. She enjoyed her flowers, fishing and her grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Luther Edwards; her brothers, Charles Bryant, and Jack Bryant; and sister, Betty Pitchford.
She is survived by her sons, Richard K. Edwards of Hampton, Georgia, and Michael L. Edwards and wife Jenny of Austell, Georgia; daughters, Jeanie Arvanitis and husband Greg of Woodstock, Georgia, and Joanie Faye Wadas and husband Bill of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Brandon Edwards, Ashley Edwards, Natalie Edwards Crowe and husband James, Alexis Wadas, Seth Wadas, Evan Arvanitis, and Ryan Arvanitis; great grandchild, Willow Grace Crowe; brother, Harry Bryant of Pavo; and siter, Martha Croft of Berlin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
