NORMAN PARK - Joe Lindsey, 47, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Thursday, June 9, at 3 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Crawley officiating assisted by the Rev. James Williams. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Trey Lindsey, Mark Lindsey, Keith Lindsey, Bruce Lindsey, Ansleigh Lindsey, and Matt Lindsey. Born on April 8, 1969, in Moultrie, he was the son of Jack and Brenda Lindsey of Norman Park. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by special friend, Ila Marie Farrow of Lenox; son, Joseph Randall Lindsey, Jr., and wife Ariel of Berlin; daughter, Lauren Nicole Bass and husband Taylor of Ellaville; brothers, Chris Lindsey and wife Rachel of Norman Park, and Andy Lindsey and wife Denise of Americus; grandmother, Mattie Lou "Janie" Kennedy of Norman Park; grandchildren, Benjamin, Payton, Emily, Kelsee, and Kenlee; many nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
