John Lewis Jones (PHOTO) MOULTRIE John Lewis Jones, 51, of Bay died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy W. Hiers officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Jonathan Jones, Jack Rabon, Steven Luckey, Antonio Ortiz, Gary Steve Hiers Jr., Nathan Cato and Robbie Sherrod. Born Aug. 22, 1963, in Baltimore, Md., Jones was the son of the late Lewis Lee Jones and the late Charlene Bourne Sweeney. He was a warehouse manager at Irwin County Warehouse and of the Baptist faith. He was married to Theresa Karen Hiers Jones of Bay. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son, Jonathan Jones and wife Sarah of El Paso , Texas; three daughters, Jessica Kennedy and husband Kevin of Pavo, Summer Jones of Bay and Ashlee Jones and Matt Patton of Sylvester; four grandchildren, David Jones and Evertt Jones of El Paso, Texas, Leigha Kennedy of Pavo and Bryden Patton of Sylvester; special friends Sharon Georgia, Ann Collier, Dawn Kent and Kerria Ellis. Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
