John Harrison Tyree

John Harrison Tyree, 57, of Omega, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November 6, 2017 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Albritton officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 12pm-1pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Born on May 7, 1960 in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Linda Bell Deal Tyree and the late John Curtis Tyree. He served in the Army National Guard. He retired after many years from Badcock of Tifton where he was the credit manager. Survivors include his wife Christine Harris Tyree of Omega; sons, Chris Tyree and wife Leigh of Moultrie, Danny Tyree and wife Melanie of Tennessee, and James Tyree and wife Tabitha of Texas; grandchildren, Brianne Dean, Skyleigh Tyree, Tyler Walters, Nathan Tyree, Jason Tyree, Savannah Williams, Maddison Tyree, Shellie Tyree, and JoJo Williams; mother, Linda Bell Deal Tyree of Alabama; brothers, James Tyree and wife Marisol of Virginia, Troy Tyree of Tifton; sisters Vera Bell Wood and husband Huey of Cairo, Shirley Ann Tyree Fegueroa of Florida, and Glenda Sue Tyree Lopez and husband Manuel of Rome, Ga; and 11 nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
