Jose M. Morales Alvarez MOULTRIE Jose M. Morales Alvarez, 60, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Eduardo Perez officiating. Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Walter Yero, Osmel Ayala, Merardo Moreno, Alexi Batista, Agner Frometa and Yoelio Ezquibel serving as pallbearers. Born Nov. 5, 1953, in Camaguey, Cuba, he was the son of Vidalina Alvares and the late Jose M. Morales Isaac. He was a sanitation worker with Sanderson Farms. Survivors include his wife, Nieves D. Cruz-Lara; a son, Yurisander Norge Morales; a daughter, Dianelys Morales; brothers, Jorge, Alberto and Nolberto Morales; sisters, Martha, Niury, Nelvis, and Niovi Morales; and grandchildren, Melany, Maomy, Megan, Norben and Cristian. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 15, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
