Joseph Cooper

Joseph Clifford Cooper, 27, of Moultrie, died Monday, March 29, 2021 in Moultrie, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Zion Grove Assembly of God with Rev. Gerald Horne officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Grove Assembly of God Cemetery.
Born on January 4, 1994 in Tifton, Georgia he was the son of Joseph Rodney Cooper and Teresa Ann Waldschlager Cooper. He worked as a correction officer with Mitchell County Correction Institution in Camilla. He was of the Church of God faith and was a member of Rose city COG in Thomasville.
Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Ellen Crosby Cooper, John and Carol Herbst Waldschlager Garren, and Ronald Lee Waldschlager; and great grandparents, Clifford Cooper and Reva Lloyd Cooper, John Waldschlager and Violet Engle Waldschlager, Henry Crosby and Estelle Lamb Crosby, and Clarence Herbst and Hazel Kirtley Herbst.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Stormy Rain Wise and children Kylee and Isabella Caison, and his unborn child Baby Cooper; sister, Tianna Marie Cooper and fiancé Christopher Lane Layton of Moultrie; and Godparents, Tommy and Dana Crosby of Moultrie.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
