Joyce Causey Creel NORMAN PARK Joyce Causey Creel, 73, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. John Myrick officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Born Nov. 11, 1939, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Riley "Buddy" Causey Sr. and Hazel Brown Causey. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Norman Park. She was preceded in death by sons, William David Creel Jr. and Wayne Causey Creel. Survivors include her husband, William David "W.D." Creel of Norman Park; daughter, Dedra Creel Varnadoe and husband Baird of Moultrie; brother, Bo Causey and wife Dorothy of Moultrie; sisters, Jean Caulder of Tifton, Francis Whittington of Worth County, Betty Diers of Moultrie, Carolyn Wagner of Moultrie and Judy Gay of Worth County; grandchildren, Skipper Varnadoe and Kylie Varnadoe; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., today, Dec. 20, at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at 170 Sam Harrell Rd. in Moultrie, home of Baird and Debra Varnadoe.
