Joyce Lynn Davis

Joyce Lynn Dickerson Davis, 64, of Moultrie, passed away at Pruitt Health Sunrise on Thursday, September 5, 2024. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Bussey officiating. 

She was born on December 3, 1959, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Dickerson and Mary Hewett Dickerson. Mrs. Davis enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, and crocheting. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chelsea Mary-Lynn Kosik; and fiancé, Steve Dobbs. 

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Christy Kosik (Daniel Trull) of Ochlocknee, Georgia, and Robbi McGarrity (Andrew) of Lake Worth, Florida; son-in-law, Otto Kosik of Ochlocknee; bonus daughter, Tina Ree Swan of Moultrie; grandchildren, Will Hancock (JoAnn) of Moultrie, Christopher Kosik, Caden Kosik both of Ochlocknee, Aaliya Ryan, Aalayna Ryan both of Valdosta and Linkin McGarrity of Lake Worth, Florida; great-grandchildren, Jayci Young and Oaklynn Ryan both of Valdosta; special nurse, Jamie Swilley; and a host of friends and family. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
