Joyce Lee Young Tyndall, 80, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at First Presbyterian Church of Moultrie with interment at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Officiating will be the Revs. Julian Griner, Frank Green and Richard Carr. Pallbearers will be Caleb Tyndall, Rich Tyndall, Will Broome, Patrick Warfield, Zach Presley, Ed Norman, Jeff Young and Robert Nelson. Mrs. Tyndall was born June 27, 1931, in Roanoke, Va., to the late Noel William Young and Hazel Lee McDaniel Young. She retired as society editor for The Moultrie Observer and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Rene Tyndall. Survivors include four children, Mark Tyndall and wife Martha Horkan Tyndall of Atlanta, Julie Tyndall Presley and husband Sonny Presley of Moultrie, Becky Tyndall Broome and husband Bill Broome of Cartersville, and David Tyndall and wife Sally Whiddon Tyndall of Moultrie; a brother, Dr. N.W. Young Jr. of Durham, N.C.; grandchildren, Rene Presley Warfield and husband Patrick Warfield, Beth Presley Norman and husband Ed Norman, Zach Presley and wife Megan Pritchett Presley, Sarah Tyndall, Laurel Tyndall, Caleb Tyndall, Rebecca Broome, Rich Tyndall, Will Broome, and Ferrell Tyndall; great-grandchildren, Presley Warfield, Shelby Norman and Adelyn Norman; and three nephews and their families. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, Nov. 20, at Baker Funeral Home.
