Juanita Fay Strawder Sasser, 72, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the chapel of China Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Conger officiating. Grandchildren will serve as Casketbearers. Born June 4, 1944 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Abbie Preston Strawder and Minnie Lee Ward Strawder. She retired from being a self-employed truck driver and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Ronnie G Sasser SR., a sister, Mary Frances Strawder and two brothers, Thomas Strawder and Eugene Strawder. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Harrell of Moultrie; son, Gene Sasser and wife Bernadine of Pennsylvania; daughters, Tammy Cone of Moultrie, Lisa Sasser of Columbus, stepdaughter Sydney Harrell of Moultrie; sisters, Katherine Hand of Moultrie, Dorothy Wright and husband D.W. of Moultrie, Evelyn Brightwell of Valdosta, Geraldine Conger of Thomasville; brother in law, Donald Sasser and wife Wanda of Moultrie; sister in law, Joann Strawder of Conyers; grandchildren, Aprill Sasser, Cody Sasser, Terrell Sasser, Clif Cone and wife Jill, Alex Cone, Marshall Cone, Tyler Rogers and wife Jessica, Mackenzie Rogers, Katie Rogers and fiancé Justin Baker, Jill Carter and husband Kevin, Jennah Rogers and fiancé Anthony Warrick, Aaron Champion, and step grandson Lane Harrell; great grandchildren, Aiden Turner, Lorelei Cone, Axel Cone, Jordyn Rogers, Jayda Rogers, Jaxon Rogers, Lucis Carter. Several Nieces, Nephews and cousins and Special friend, Mary Deas. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 21, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
