Born on January 24, 1945, in Colquitt Co., Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Lee Ledford and Mamie Estelle Mercer Ledford. She was a woman of strong faith, always finding joy in serving the Lord and sharing His love with those around her.
Judy worked for many years in sales at Belk Hudson, where she formed lasting friendships with colleagues and customers alike. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, always ready with a kind word and a smile.
She found great joy in yard work, taking pride in keeping her home beautiful and blooming. Judy also had a passion for cooking, always preparing delicious meals for her family, where love was the main ingredient. Her caring nature extended beyond her home as she lovingly created flower arrangements for funerals, bringing comfort and beauty to those in times of sorrow.
Above all, Judy cherished her family. She deeply loved her daughters and grandchildren, but it was her great-grandchildren who truly stole her heart. She found immense joy in their laughter and presence, treasuring every moment spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester S. Taylor, Jr.; brothers, Wallace Ledford, Charles Ledford, Paul Giles, and Jess Giles; and sisters, Mary Lee Foster and Eula Purvis.
She is survived by her cherished daughters, Kim Moore of Moultrie, Melissa Frazier and husband Eddie of Leesburg, and Sandy Taylor of Moultrie; grandchildren, Randall Moore and wife Jean, Geoffrey Moore, Landan Frazier, Taylor Woodall, Brelynda Frazier, Kylah Frazier, Rickey Frazier, Jaron Frazier, Katavia Frazier, and John Frazier; great-grandchildren, Hannah Moore, Shelby Moore, Halleigh Moore, Skai Frazier, Christa Williams, Zoey Frazier, Riley Frazier, and Andrew Frazier; sisters, Betty Bennett and husband Fred of Loganville, Lorene Hullum, Pauline Hazelton, and Emma Hall, all of Moultrie; sister-in-law, Kathy Ledford of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
