Julia Elizabeth Ann Horne

Julia Elizabeth Ann Newton Horne, 75, of Moultrie, died Friday, July 27, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Robison officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chase Saunders, Rey Juan, Gregory Robison, Joey Davidson, Al Davidson, and Steve Saunders.
Born on October 14, 1942, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Richard Vernon Newton and Myrtice Juanita Johnson Newton. She was a Truck Driver for Swift and of the Missionary Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Donald Horne; sons, Mickey LaVaughn Johnson, Richard Ashley Johnson; daughters, Joy Elizabeth Johnson; brother, Raymond Newton; and sisters Ila Voncille Massey and Juanita Newton.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Kayla Davidson and husband Al and Janet Saunders and husband Steve, all of Crosland; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren; and special friend, W.L. Watson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, one hour prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home.
