Julian Curtis Saxon MOULTRIE Julian Curtis Saxon, 67, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Barrett officiating. Born Aug. 6, 1946, in Blakely, Ga., he was the son of the late Benjamin Columbus Saxon and Lula Mae Engram Saxon. He was a retired welder for Transport Equip. Co. in Albany, Ga. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Shane Saxon; daughters, Robin Carol Saxon, Emily Rose Saxon and Anna Marie Saxon; a brother, William Saxon; and a sister, Jeanette Harper. Survivors include daughter, Tonya Sciandra and husband David of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Ray Saxon and wife Denice of Albany, Ga.; grandchildren, Alexis and Ayden Sciandra of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
