Kirth Goldman "K.G." Cardin, Sr., 88, of Berlin, died Monday, September 28, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Private Graveside Rites with immediate family will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Sardis Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Croft and Rev Warren Gilpin officiating.
Born on August 3, 1932 in Berlin, Georgia, he was the son of the late P.V. Cardin and Lucile Hall Cardin. He was a farmer and was a hard-working man. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Cardin; and son in law, Gerald Akridge.
Mr. Cardin is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Nell Walden Cardin of Berlin; children, Mary Ann Akridge, Hall Cardin and wife Teresa, Kagey Cardin and wife Anne and Cindy Croft and husband Andy, all of Berlin; grandchildren, Curtis Akridge and wife Casey of Berlin, Marty Cardin and wife Selina of Berlin, Cheryl Boyette and husband Robbie of Berlin, Chris Cardin and wife Whitney of Berlin, Shelby Cardin of Berlin, Caitlin Croft of Valdosta, Morgan Croft of Athens; great grandchildren, Landen Cardin, Conner Cardin, Miya Cardin, and Braylen Boyette, all of Berlin; brother, Bill Cardin and wife Ruby of Atlanta, Steve Cardin of Crawfordville, Florida, and David Cardin and wife Kathie of Boston, Georgia; sister in law, Vivian Norman of Moultrie and Blanche May of Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
