Karen Hicks

Karen Anne Hicks, 66, of Hartsfield, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Archbold Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Plymel officiating. Mrs. Hicks will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Cole Bryant, Anthony Bryant, Chase Niezek, Josh Taylor, Michael Ward, and Shane Miller will all serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 6pm until 8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on January 11, 1956, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Carmen Cowart Hicks and the late George Hicks. She worked for many years as a caregiver and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Hicks; and brothers, Aaron Hicks and Mike Hicks.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon Buchte, Melena Bryant and husband Wayne, Tonya Niezek and husband John and Dawn Kent and husband Travis, all of Moultrie; mother, Carmen Cowart Hicks of Moultrie; grandchildren, Miranda Holt and husband Jeff, Nikki Taylor and husband Josh, Cole Bryant and wife Hope, Anthony Bryant, Kaylin Niezek, Chase Niezek, Brooke Kent, and Maddie Kent; great grandchildren, Ronnie-Anne, Gabe, Haidyn, and Piper; brothers, George Hicks and wife Margie of Moultrie, Steve Hicks and wife Katie of Brunswick, and Danny Hicks and wife Kim of Moultrie; sister, Debbie Miller and husband Tyrone of Ashburn; and several special nieces and nephews that she loved.
The family will be gathering at the home of Melena and Wayne Bryant 4593 Georgia Hwy 111 Hartsfield, Georgia 31756.
