Kate Castleberry TY TY - Kate Castleberry, 69, of Ty Ty died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Lee Leverett, Jesse Leverett, Stacey Leverett, Ethan Leverett, Chris Spires and David Craft. Born Dec. 20, 1945, in Sycamore, Ga., Mrs. Castleberry was the daughter of the late Johnny Robert Leverett and the late Gladys Mae Evans Leverett. She was retired from Queen Carpet Co. and was of the Baptist faith.  She was married to Arlie Ray Castleberry of Ty Ty. Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Arlie Castleberry Jr. and wife Robin of Duck River, Tenn.; three daughters, Rachel Morgan and husband Greg of Sylvester, Joyce Overstreet of Norman Park, and Beatrice Haymons and husband Andy of Moultrie; two brothers, James Leverett and wife Barbara of Tifton, and Harold Leverett and wife Connie of Sparks; two sisters, Viola Hamilton of Ty Ty and Irene Spires and husband David of Sparks; 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and  several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Leverett and Thomas Leverett. Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10.  The family will meet at the home of Irene and David Spires, 1406 Brushy Creek Road, Sparks.
